Day 1
General


Start from Stuttgart early morning to Heidelberg, once you come out of Hbf you will see tourist info counter.
Collect necessary information & maps.
Catch Bus to Altstadt.
Take a walk in the Altstadt to Universitätplatz and move on till you reach entrance to the old bridge.
Spend some time in old bridge and come back to Universitätplatz and move towards Bergbahn entrance (Kornmarkt).
Take a kombi ticket to Entrance to the Castle + berg bahn(to & fro) costs 5€ p.P.
Visit castle and park.
While coming back get down at Bismarckplatz, if you are interested in doing some shopping..

This ticket is called as Länder Tickets or Regional Tickets. Regional or Länder ticket will be valid for particular region. In Germany following regional tickets are valid. 

Baden-Württemberg
Baden-Württemberg-Ticket

Package price: 29 EUR if you buy your ticket online or at the ticket machine. 31 EUR if you purchase your ticket at the Reisezentrum.

This ticket is valid from Monday to Sunday for one day of your choice from 9 a.m. until 3 a.m. of the following day on Saturday and Sunday and bank holidays from 0 a.m. until 3 a.m. of the following day. It can be used on all local trains (Interregio-Express, Regional-Express, Regionalbahn, S-Bahn) and the entire transport system of the Verkehrsverbünde Baden-Württemberg, with some exceptions.

Also available:
Baden-Württemberg-Ticket Single 1st class and Baden-Württemberg-Ticket night.
