DeleteMarken Deutschland Butter is just the cheapest butter. It's not ghee. Ghee is Butterschmalz and the one found in kaufland and Netto tastes close to our ghee. Other brand Butterschmalz are half processed Butter. Hope this helps.

Paneer you get in Indian Store. Replacement is TOFU
DeleteAbsolutely not. Please either use Halloumi or Grillkäse. If you want to make paneer bhurji, use hard Halloumi

Toor dal, Moong dal , urad dal are available in Indian store.
DeleteAlternate items are not common in German stores, but you may try in Turkish shops
You can buy Rotelinsen which is masoor dal i believe. You can find some more pulses in big supermarkets

ReplyDeleteBetter option would be to use irish butter which you can find next to the marken butter. Much better ghee I'm told
