One of the best option for long term visitors in Stuttgart to avail Ticket plus.

Advantages of ticket plus:

·        Ticket plus can be brought from one zone to entire zones cost increases with increase in zones.

·        Ticket plus is transferable, means it comes with out photo, anyone can use the ticket plus.

·        Ticket plus holder can take one adult and 3 children or all your children in the entire VVS network for free on Friday after 19:00 hrs, weekends and holidays throughout the day (also on Dec 24th and 31st).

·        Ticket plus holder can take one adult and 3 children or all your children in the registered valid VVS zone (not entire network) for free on weekdays (Mon to Thur) after 19:00 hrs.

·        Ticket plus holder gets Bonus voucher booklet, which you can use in some places to get some discount eg: One day group ticket, TV tower, Wilhelma Zoo, Trips drill etc)

·        If there is delay/failure of bus/rail more than 30min, ticket plus holder can take taxi and claim up to 50€. (Note: You can claim only delays caused due to VVS, not for natural calamities or accidents)

·        Ticket plus available only for year subscription. Payment can be done by one time or one can select Abo ( monthly deduction from Bank account) subscription.

·        Are you relocated to new place, don’t worry you can ex-change your zone in VVS Kunden zentrum .

 Connection Rides:  From 01.01.2015 if you and your accompanied person with ticket plus travelling to other zones, then it is allowed to take only Child ticket(Kinder Ticket) for respective additional zones instead of Adult tickets... This reduces the cost by >50%. (Valid on single and 4-er Ticket)

 Special offers on "Flinkster" and "E-Call a Bike" or "Call a Bike"

Keep your bill/purchase reciept to get a replacement ticket plus in case of loss/theft.

                        Tips:

·        Buy ticket plus from your office (Firmen ticket) to get one month discounted price.
·        Some Banks extends offer on ticket plus with one month discounted price.
·        If your daily travel is after 09:00 in the morning, then take 9-Uhr Umwelt ticket with ticket plus. You nearly save 50% of the normal amount. Only constraint is, travelling not possible before 09:00 in weekdays.
·        You may not be able to cancel the ticket after 8-10 months of usage. But you can sell it your friends.

      Yes, you can take and sell it your friend or give it back to VVS and get the remaining amount from VVS kunden zentrum.. If u are seeling to friend take Ticket plus thru company (firmen ticket) or else normal ticket plus

      thank you jeevan. i will be there for 6 months. but my friend gave me a ticket plus which is valid for 2 months. can i topup monthly on top of the same or i have to buy a new pass?

      Hello Vengat,

      You cannot topup the others Ticketplus, you can take new Ticketplus and get it cancelled in DB Zentrum, you get the money refund.

      Hi,
      At least google takes here if I say ticketplus not SSB or VVS site in German :) I just came here and took a pass for an year last month. But looks like I may go out of country in or befor six months...what is best time to cancel or surrender the ticket...as you said 'I cannot not cancel if used 8-10 months'. Can I use till 4 to 7 months?.. Please let me know if you have some idea....I don't I will get a buyer or lazy to do that :)

      Give it back to VVS kunden zentrum, tell them that you are leaving country in short notice, they will give you a refund.

      Hi Jagadish,

      It should be 2 zones.. You can check in VVS or DB office.
      With ticket plus you can got in anyzones (during weekend).

    Thanks a lot for the info. I am staying in Germany for 3.5 months and i have to buy 2 zone pass. Can i buy ticket plus and later can i cancel it after end of my stay in Germany? Do they refund the money?

      You will get less than half of your money... but I do not remember the percentage it will be within 40-50%

      Hi Shalini,

      If you are staying for only one week and your travel is minimum. Take 4er ticket for 2 zones or 3 zones in the ticket vending machine (can be used for 4 one way travels within 2/3 zones on any day).
      or you can take day ticket (Einzel Tages Ticket) on the day of travel

      Hi,
      Take along with your passport old receipt of your ticket plus (if you have) to stuttgart SSB counter. They will reissue ticket plus.
      They will charge 50Euro fine.

    Hi Jeevan, what is the age at which we need to purchase tkts for Kids. My daughter just turned 6. Does she need a tkt during day time. She has to goto school and needs to use bus (along with me, I have a ticket plus). Do I need to purchase a separate ticket for her?

    Hello, I'm planning to move to Stuttgart in September. I am thinking of living in the centre and commuting to Metzingen every day for my internship. I would appreciate if someone could help me with the transportation options, the Metropol ticket, availability and prices of a monthly pass.
    As of what I know already, the VVS ticket doesn't work for going to Metzingen and without a pass, it's going to be very expensive for me. So any information would be really helpful. Thanks a lot.

    Hi,
    I'm staying in Plochingen area in Stuttgart and my office is in Nabern, Kichhiem unter Teck.
    I'll be staying here for 4 months and would like to get a ticket plus monthly pass.
    Could Jeevan or anyone of you let me know how much will it cost me for the ticket plus monthly pass?
    Should I pay 12 months amount in advance and refund remaining 8 months amount?
    Or can I pay each months ticket plus monthly pass amount on that particular month?
    Also, will there be any penalties since I'm not using this ticket for 12 months?
